My collage films

"Collage film is a style of film created by juxtaposing found footage from disparate sources."

I've been obsessed with vintage footage for a while now and have built quite a large collection over the months, but it's only recently that I decidedly to try out making collage films. As it happens, I really enjoy making them. They aren't great, but they're really fun to make so yeah. I've been a collector for a long time now, I've always been obsessed with it and so my collections have just amassed over time - but it's only recently that I've started making collage films with them.

And I know, right? I'm going to delete all these smileys because, let's face it, they're shit. I'll get some new ones in.

Both. It started with YouTube but then I became a serious collector and bought old 8mm film from eBay to develop and convert to video files. My grandparents gave me some as well, albeit only a little.

Wow, that's so awesome! I'd love to get into something like that but no money often proves to be a problem. I wanted to get a Super 8 but I decided it'd probably be better to try and use normal footage and edit in After Effects rather than getting a camera and a projector and film and everything.
