NME 'Best Albums of 2012'

Post by Quarter-life crisis on Wed Dec 05, 2012 8:26 am

'Enjoy It While It Lasts' came 26th on NME's Best Albums of 2012 list, higher than Lana Del Ray, Paul Weller and The Vaccines' efforts.

Take that, Q! (they gave EIWIL a really bad review)

In my own personal opinion, it was the #1 album of recent years - but I'm glad it made the top 40. Awesome, especially for a d├ębut.

And ugh, I hated Q's review. I read it on a plane and was so stressed out by it.

I didn't like NME's review of EIWIL when the album was released. They said Upset Boulevard was at the end and had a cheeky dig at Fred for being pretentious with it or something (their exact words evade me because I can't remember anything EVER)

I wasn't a fan of NME's Top 50 Songs either, Call Me Maybe?
